Council Street is a shared workspace and photography studio in Melbourne's inner north.
Since Council Street was set up co-working and shared workspaces have become an awesome option for new and developing businesses and we get that there are plenty of options out there. The original ethos for being a space that you can consider your own and get it done your way is still how we roll here. There's no concierge or group yoga sessions, but we get by.
THE SHARED WORKSPACE
Council Street houses lone wolf operators occupying single desks through to small businesses in their own pods. We understand that to work the hours you need and have a dedicated space of your own is important so we don't restrict your access, and we respect the space is yours and is set up the way you see fit.
Should you join the Council Street crew you'll have access to the private meeting room, various break out spaces, as well as regular use of the studio. Monthly rent covers all bills, including high speed internet (100MB p/s). The good company comes free of charge (for now).
Council Street is wedged between Smith St, Collingwood and Clifton Hill Village: best of both worlds. Getting here is easy, there is plenty of 2P and 4P street parking on Council and surrounding streets. The 86 tram stop is metres from the door and if trains are your flavour, Clifton Hill station is a pleasant stroll away.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO
The boutique photography studio is available for use by tenants and for daily and half daily hire. The versatile space has high ceilings and is easily adaptable to suit your needs. The studio is also an interesting and functional space for workshops and low-key events.
The generous space 40sqm includes a dressing room with makeup area, flexible set and/or seating arrangements and - should you need it - use of basic photography equipment. Access for large loads are easily accommodated with roller door access directly into the studio.
